About the Film

Jungle Beat: The Movie is the first feature film spin-off from Africa’s biggest animated franchise. Produced by Sunrise Animation and Sandcastle Studios, the film was a true international effort with cast and crew from South Africa, Mauritius, Indonesia, and the UK.

The film premiered in official competition at the Annecy International Animation Festival in June 2020 and was subsequently acquired by Netflix, where it reached the Top Ten globally, peaking at #3 in major territories including the US.
